Since a Lot of You Are Asking: Neck Coolers

I've been wearing various kinds of neck fans for a few years now. Here's a rundown of the two I like. I wish I could share more options but all the other versions I've found have various flaws or are too expensive.

Neck Cooler Evo

This has been my new favorite cooler. It's uses Peltier heat pumps to pull heat directly off your skin. There are lil fans but they aren't blowing air at your face. They're used to remove heat from the hot side of the heat pumps. Fans don't do shit when it gets humid out. This is a much better option. The pads sit right on the major veins and arteries of the neck. I run a USB C cable from the back of this unit down the inside of my shirt to a battery pack in my back pocket. I can get at least 4 hours of use off one 10K mAh battery pack. The included battery pack is good for about an hour. It conveniently keeps the unit powered and running while you swap your larger battery pack in your pocket.

O2Cool Neck Fan

The first fan I got. Hangs like a necklace. It's pretty OK. But, it kinda' sucks how it dangles in front of when bending over. It's cheap and good. Pro tip: make sure to get a model that takes AA batteries. Newer ones have self contained battery. Better to swap batteries and keep going than have to set the whole unit down to USB charge for an hour.

Things to Note
The "air conditioner" types seem stupid to me. It's better to directly remove heat from the body than to blow cold air at your face. Air is a poor conductor. Most of the air is blowing past your face. It can't be that efficient. Pay attention to where the charge ports are on other devices. It might not be practical to have it charging while wearing it.
